Abstract. The article explores the features and trends in the organization of automobile tourism. The purpose of the work is the formation of methodological recommendations for the analysis of automobile tourism in the Russian Federation. The basis of the study was the systematization of modern approaches to the formation of the conceptual framework of automobile tourism at the regulatory and academic level. The theoretical part of the study was based on the use of such methods of scientific knowledge as the method of comparison, induction and deduction, the methods of actualization, system analysis, classification, abstraction and concretization, the method of econometric analysis. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the actuali-zation of the author's model for the analysis of automobile tourism in terms of the choice of de-pendent and explanatory variables. The practical significance of the work is determined by the calculation of correlation coefficients for each factor noted in the model. The interpretation of these coefficients made it possible to determine the priority of indicators in the context of the de-velopment of automobile tourism as a tool for improving the standard of living and well-being of the population of the regions.
